Who is Ash?

I hail from the vibrant city of Singapore and spent a significant 13 years soaking in the dynamic culture of Hong Kong. My journey into the world of art and photography began when my dad handed me my first camera, a film one at that. The enchantment of manipulating images in a darkroom and witnessing the development process fueled my passion.

Upon reaching the crossroads of choosing my future path, I found myself fortunate to be accepted into Edinburgh Art College. While exploring various forms of art, my heart consistently gravitated towards photography. Eventually, I declared it as my major, delving into the intricacies of this timeless craft.

The turning point came when I had the opportunity to be a second shooter at a wedding. Every element of the day, from the enchanting decor to the bridal gown and the emotions on the groom's face, captivated me completely. It was at that moment I knew – wedding photography was my calling, and I've been hooked ever since.

Do you collect things - I uesed to collect old cameras but the husband stopped this as it was getting silly.

Whats your prized possessions: My 2 babies - Harris and fayden.

What is something that makes you smile - my kids but the moment the groom sees the bride and crys! Love it when men cry!!!

In my lens, no detail is too small to escape notice. Whether it's the tender grip of your hands, the subtle distance between you, the delicate lace gracing your shoulder, or the intricacies of a hair clasp – I seek to immortalize these subtleties.

I take immense joy in candidly photographing your guests, catching them in unguarded moments. Be it laughter, tears, or the occasional cheeky nap, I believe these spontaneous instances contribute to the tapestry of your special day.

what is your talent - not sure it is a talent but i can pick up hhow some one is feeling. So it comes in handy with my job. As i sence when some one is nervouse and help them through it. Its bad when somes ones emotional as I end up crying too. But i place that emotion in my photos.

whats your guilty pleasure - I love cheese american programes like 911 and ranger 911 and the resident - they are so bad they are good.
